A core activity of Smelt is CNC milling. The milling group has state-of-the-art horizontal and vertical milling machines and machining centres on which products with dimensions up to 8000x1500x1500mm and a maximum weight of 8 tonnes can be machined. Besides machines that are equipped for single pieces and small series, there are also machining centres with pallet pools for cost-efficient serial production.
